Who may be a reasonable candidate?
A possible candidate is generally in stable health, has a small and clearly defined local concern, understands that the change may be modest or temporary, and can follow method-specific aftercare. Suitability changes with pregnancy, skin condition, scars, hernias, cold sensitivity, implants and other medical factors.
- A localized concern rather than a goal of large or rapid weight loss
- Stable expectations about gradual, variable contour change
- No active infection, open wound or unexplained lump in the area
- Full disclosure of surgery, scars, implants, medicines and medical conditions
- Ability to attend review before repeating or combining treatments
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Elective body-contouring treatment is generally postponed. Discuss future pregnancy plans because later body changes can also alter the result.
